Atlas 9 — Kansas City, 2025 · commissioned by Dimensional Innovations

A 2,200 sq ft jazz club with 30-foot ceilings inside a 46,000 sq ft entertainment venue built to showcase multiple artists and fabricators. We designed the room — spire, ceiling, chandeliers, cladding — across several phases, then fabricated, finished, and installed it.

Over 12,000 lbs installed permanently above a high-traffic public floor. 15 months, design through install, delivered on schedule. Designed, fabricated, and installed by Interlock Arts.

  • 28-foot freestanding central spire with integrated sound and lighting, including seven interactive seats

  • 60-foot-diameter ceiling mandala: 144 unique petals, 5 to 13 feet long, over an aluminum angle skeleton, scribed to the room's perimeter and to three chandelier mounts

  • Three modular chandeliers, 22 feet each, roughly 2,000 lbs apiece, fabricated from half-inch plywood

  • Full wall cladding in three custom relief patterns, cut and finished in-house

  • Custom upholstery, rigging, and on-site installation

Time Mission: Jungle Room — National & international rollout, 2026

An immersive escape-room environment for an operator running venues across the United States and abroad. The concept arrived as a design; we rebuilt the model from the ground up and resolved the room for consistent manufacture — a documented kit that goes up correctly at every venue, assembled by crews we have never met.

  • 9'10" × 19'8" room, 12-foot ceilings, on a structural steel skeleton

  • Birch plywood wall and surface cladding throughout

  • Custom laser-cut birch detail parts, precision-cut for identical reproduction across sites

  • Integrated low-voltage electronics for lighting, effects, and interactive game systems

  • Flat-packed for freight; numbered and documented for repeatable third-party assembly

Burning Man — Black Rock Desert, 2024

A large-scale outdoor sculpture designed to survive the playa's heat, wind, and dust, then come down clean. We designed it as three stacking assemblies — 4, 6, and 8 feet — every connection built for rapid assembly by a small crew, in a remote environment with no infrastructure.

Terra Luna: Suspended Forest Chandelier — 2023

A large-scale hanging chandelier suspended 8 feet wide within a forest canopy, part of an immersive art environment set among the trees. We designed it from interlocking wood joinery — no visible hardware — with integrated LED to light it after dark, balancing sculptural presence against the rigging and load demands of safe overhead suspension outdoors.
